Are you using an iCloud Mail account or a 3rd party mail account?
If 3rd party, those mails might still be on the server of the provider, if you log into your Webmail account.

If your Trash folder in iCloud Mail is empty, I'm afraid, there is nothing you can do.
However, you can contact the official Apple Support and ask them, if they can see any data in iCloud Mail from their side.

Yes I am using iCloud…long time ago it happened and Apple helped me out, nowadays it is not easy to get in touch with them. I appreciate your response.
