iPhone 12 - 2 problems: wifi greyed out + automatically turns off

My iPhone had 2 problems:

  • Wi-Fi is greyed out – After resetting the network settings several times, it works again temporarily.
  • The phone restarts automatically – It turns off and on by itself without any input.

Additional information:

  • iOS is up to date
  • Battery capacity: 89%
  • Storage: 34.39 GB used out of 64 GB

I doubt that a Forced Restart will help, but it certainly won't hurt to give it a try a few times.

If no help from the Forced Restart, this confirms that there are hardware problems with your iPhone. Make an appointment at the Apple Store / Genius Bar or take the phone to an authorized Apple service shop.
