Can I pay more than the initial payment for monthly installments on a MacBook Pro with an Apple Card?

I am interested in purchasing a new MacBook Pro using my Apple credit card. I want to do the monthly installments. Right now I am only required to pay $79 for the initial payment. Am I able to pay more during the initial payment to lower my monthly payment ?

Making additional payments on an ACMI plan requires the card balance be $0. Once the card balance is zero, any additional payments made will be credited to the oldest ACMI. Making additional payments does not lower the monthly payment amount. Additional payments reduce the number of months before the installment plan is paid off.
