Unable to install Volkswagen app on iPhone due to region restrictions
I’ve been trying for over a month to install the Volkswagen app on my phone to connect with my car, but I keep getting a message saying it’s not available in my region. I attempted to change my region settings, but couldn’t do so due to existing subscriptions tied to my account.
Following some advice, I created a new Apple ID with the region set to the UK and Germany, signed out of my current account, and signed in with the new one. Unfortunately, that didn’t work either.
At this point, I’m stuck. The app is easily downloadable on Android devices without any issues, but I’m not keen on switching platforms just for one app. However, not having access to the Volkswagen app is making it difficult to use many of my car’s features.
If anyone has faced a similar issue or has a workaround, I’d really appreciate your help.
