How do I send myself a delayed text?

“Send later” is a great option that I just leaned about, but I can’t seem to use it to send a delayed text to myself, which would be incredibly helpful.

Does anyone know of a way I can do that?

If you have two or more email accounts (eg: Yahoo, and Gmail etc.) or two email addresses with the same provider, try sending from one to the other.

Apple Support's online article: Send email in Mail on iPhone - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"Schedule an email with Send Later

  1. Go to the Mail app  on your iPhone.
  2. In a message you’re writing, touch and hold , then choose when you want to send the message.
  3. To see more options, tap Send Later."

Else perhaps you can send it to someone else, and with a copy to yourself ?

Above article also says:

________________________________

Automatically send a copy to yourself

  1. Go to the Settings app  on your iPhone.
  2. Tap apps, then tap Mail.
  3. Turn on Always Bcc Myself (below Composing)."

***Note: You may want to turn this off again after you receive the email you sent,

"Send an email from a different account

If you have more than one email account, you can specify which account to send email from.

  1. Go to the Mail app  on your iPhone.
  2. In your message draft, tap the Cc/Bcc, From field.
  3. Tap the From field, then choose an account."
