Just bought a new Demo iPad at a Staples store for cheap, can I use it as a regular iPad?

It's a 10th generation Wi-Fi 10.9" 64GB Model A2696, 3L204LL/A, brand new never out of box

HOWEVER, I see "(Demo Not For Resale)"...huh?

Thanks in advance for any expert help here!

No. Demo iPads have a special version of iPadOS for demo purposes which can never be removed.

I would return it to Staples, they should not have sold it to begin with, that is a violation of Apple's policies.

Demo units cannot and should not be sold to the public.
