Unable to access internet on my MacBook Air using iPhone hotspot

Hotspot is entirely a function of the wireless carrier.

(As you are “extending” their network via your phone)

Contact your new carrier for assistance.

Your new carrier might not even offer it; or it might be an “extra / optional” service needing to be added onto your current service plan.

Or maybe they just forgot to activate yours.

When I am connected to my Personal hot spot this is what I see in the menu bar og the Mac...

on my iPhone Settings this what I see for WiFI....(?)

Settings>Cellular

Verify Cellular Data is turned on, verify Personal Hotspot is turned on...
