In Maps on MacOS Sequoia I've set my Home location and it shows up in the Library on the left. I can search for a location and press the blue Directions button to get directions to that place. But, the From part is blank and I see options to fill in places from the Recents but not the Library so I can't fill in my home location. If I type in "Home" I get a search of places called home, e.g. Home Depot and so on.
Am I missing something?

That's the same for me. I think steps 1-3 are not needed though, if I click on Home in the library and then plan route from here that's enough.
However it's not quite what I want - often I have found a place by searching or clicking on a link in a mail message (when it autodetects an address and puts the Show in Maps button up). Now I've got "show directions" with the correct destination but if do your steps 4-6 then Home is set as the start but it deletes the destination!
What I have discovered though from messing about with your instructions is that it's possible to drag and drop from the library, so what I can do is:
For subsequent attempts it seems that the From field stays set which is even better.

Maybe. It sounds like you've already set this up, but please confirm that you've got a My Card in Contacts along with its Home address field filled:

Thank for the the reply. Yes, I have the home address set up in "My Card" and also in the Maps app, in the Library a location is marked as "my Home"
I'm sure this used to work until recently.
