A pop up attempting me to update Adobe Flash player is blocking sites.

In the past month when I click on a site using my IPad a pop up appears to update Adobe Flash player. It blocks access to the site. It takes three closings of the pop up to continue to the site. I’m using Safari to access sites. Is there a way to stop this pop up? This began with the latest update to the IPad 8/15/25.

It is the website that is doing that to you and their motivations are usually related to money, although a nefarious website will do that in an attempt to compromise your personal information. In most cases, that as an indication that you should not even bother using that site, although you can contact them if you wish. The website is most likely not using the pop-up framework that can be blocked using pop-up blockers, and it is embedded in the HTML code to avoid detection.
