My phone is stuck in the updating process and it keeps updating on it’s own it just showing software update complete when I tap on the continue button it will take me to account info I have put my account info but it won’t work am just so confused I went to an apple repairing to but it has still repeat the same thing

The operative word here is QUICKLY for the first two buttons, then a long hold for the SIDE button; and try it a couple of times, the timing is a little tricky. If done correctly this will always work unless the phone has a hardware problem.
If that doesn't work, force it into recovery mode and restore iOS using your computer.
