To my knowledge, what you're suggesting isn't possible. An AirTag isn't part of the Android ecosystem and unless there is an AirTag attached to your Android (something you'd surely be able to see), you aren't being tracked by one on your Android. You'll need to look for some other explanation since you have an Android and this being an Apple forum about iPhone, I'm afraid we can't help you here with this.

Now, an Android can detect an AirTag, but your phone would have to be in close proximity to the AirTag. If your Android is detecting an AirTag, it would logically come in an out of range, which might give you an idea of where it is. For example if your phone sees an AirTag when you are in your home, it would logically be in your home. But when you get in your car, it likely wouldn't be seen.

Here’s a quick guide to keeping your Android safe and sound.

On your Android, you can do a few things to make sure your location permissions are in order. First, go to Settings > Location > App permissions and take a look at the apps you’re sharing your location with. If you don’t trust them, revoke their access.

Next, check if you’re sharing your location with anyone on your Google account. In the Google Maps app, go to Location sharing and turn it off if you don’t want anyone to know where you are.

Lastly, check for any hidden tracking apps on your phone. Go to Settings > Apps > Show system apps and review what’s installed. If you don’t recognise anything, uninstall it.

You can also run a security scan with Google Play Protect or a reputable antivirus like Bitdefender or Malwarebytes. This will help you catch any malware or spyware that might be on your phone.

If you’re suspicious about anything, you can also factory reset your Android. Back up all your important data, then perform a factory reset. This will reset your phone to its factory settings and will remove all your apps and data.

Remember to change your SIM or carrier account password regularly to keep your information safe. Contact your carrier to reset your account PIN or password if you need to.

By following these tips, you can help keep your Android safe and secure. Stay safe out there!

Hey there! Here’s a quick guide to help you clean up your Apple account.

1. Head over to https://appleid.apple.com and sign in with your old Apple ID.

2. Change your Apple ID password right away. This will make sure your account is secure.

3. Go to Devices and remove all the trusted devices. This way, your old iPhone or anyone else’s can’t access your data.

4. If your account still shows a device, turn off Find My iPhone/Find My Device remotely.

5. If you’re in Family Sharing, leave the family group.

That’s it! Your Apple account is now clean and safe.
