Firstly, the reason your 1.0x camera blurs but your 0.5x camera doesn’t is because the two zooms have different cameras, each with different lenses and technology.

The most likely reason your camera is blurring is because you have some dust on your camera. Just get a microfibre cloth (the same thing you would use to clean glasses as using a shirt or tissue would create tiny micro scratches on your camera) and clean your camera, but best to do both to be safe.

After you cleaned your camera, try testing your camera. If it’s still blurry, it’s got something to do with the hardware of the camera. I would take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store and explain your situation.
