iPhone 14 Pro Max Private Relay unavailable and VPN profile inconsistency

unavailable on cellular, when I turn on WiFi private relay becomes available. Few days ago Private relay turns on when I put it out of airplane mode to cellular signal. But lately says private relay unavailable due technical problem. But when I press “visit system status,” says “all services operating normally.” And I also provided latest update patch for my iPhone 14 Pro Max

Private Relay unavailable sometimes this happens. I had a Smishing incident 7 years ago. A package of Amazon tracking and it was a phishing. I click it because I was expecting a package from Amazon. When setting is on background says vpn profile is turn off. But when I open the iPhone setting it the vpn profile shows it would turn on in a second.

But when I put the settings apps on background and open it again it would show turn off and then I turn back on. Does that mean VPN profile turns off during background. But when I open it turns on? Which means I’m not protected when it’s on background? Only protected when the setting is open? So I’m unable to use social media or Gmail because the VPN is turned off when setting apps is in background?

I subscribed to a VPN Surfshark because a hacker could read my SMS text after I accidentally clicked a phishing SMS called SMISHING. Because I thought my Amazon package had arrived. And I experienced cyber terrorism when I was playing a gacha game on my iPhone. And I was reading the general chat room that a hacker or player was quoting my SMS text sent to a family member.

Private Relay on iPhone (part of iCloud+) is generally designed to stay on once you enable it, but there are a few situations where it can turn off automatically or appear disabled without you doing it manually:

  1. Network or Wi-Fi Restrictions
    1. If a Wi-Fi network uses network filtering, firewalls, or proxy configurations that are incompatible with Private Relay, iOS may disable it for that network.
    2. Example: Hotel Wi-Fi, corporate/enterprise Wi-Fi, schools, or networks with parental controls.
  2. Carrier Restrictions
    1. Some mobile carriers don’t support Private Relay or only support it partially.
    2. If your SIM/carrier blocks it, iPhone will show a message like “Private Relay is not compatible with your cellular plan.”
  3. Region or Country Restrictions: Private Relay is not available in all countries (for example, China, Saudi Arabia, Belarus). If you travel there or insert a SIM from such a country, Private Relay may automatically turn off.
  4. Expired iCloud+ Subscription: If your iCloud+ subscription lapses, Private Relay will stop working automatically.

Keep the iPhone updated to the latest iOS always and never Jailbreak. That's it.

iOS / iPadOS devices cannot be hacked or infected with Viruses / Malware / Spyware *** unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious software or unauthorized apps directly from the internet and installed them on your device, and/or have Jailbroken

It (Hacking) also depends on how careful you are in sharing sensitive and valuable information pertaining to your iPhone such as Passcode, Password, etc with your friends and family members.

Be judicious when sharing the device's sensitive and valuable information with friends and family members.

**The primary reason for this is Sandboxing. All third-party apps are “sandboxed”, so they are restricted from accessing files stored by other apps or from making changes to the device. Sandboxing is designed to prevent apps from gathering or modifying information stored by other apps.

Security of runtime process in iOS and iPadOS - Apple Support

The sandbox on an iPhone is a security feature that creates a restricted environment for each app to run in isolation from other apps and the operating system. It is a core component of iOS's security architecture and plays a crucial role in making iPhones more secure.

If you doubt the authenticity of the information provided earlier, you have two alternatives:

  1. Report the hacking incident to local law enforcement authorities and actively pursue the case.
  2. Accept the credibility of the information; it is impervious to hacking. Just as some individuals hold unconventional beliefs, such as a flat Earth or moon landing denial, one has the freedom to believe in anything. The choice ultimately rests with you in this open and free world.

If someone claims they have hacked your device or SMS system and can see every message you’ve sent to another person, you should be cautious. In most cases, this isn’t the result of an actual hack but rather a trick or prank. What’s really happening is that the person on the receiving end of your messages is simply showing them to the one making the claim, creating the illusion that your phone or account has been compromised.
