iPhone pix copying to Windows 11 PC PROBLEMS using File Explorer

Now that I've updated to Win 11 (& its updated to the latest version), when I "CUT" more than 3 images from my iPhone plugged into my PC and "Paste" to the PC's hard drive file folder I choose, the files get corrupted and they are lost forever. The PC only gets one image with all the "names" of the images selected for cut/paste AND the iPhone cannot find the images anymore. Unplugging and replugging into the PC, the images no longer exist on the phone.

The only way I can not get corrupted images is to do only 2 or 3 at a time.

I use my iPhone constantly as a camera and transfer to the PC for safe keeping and manipulation.

SO getting my images corrupted on transfer is absolutely unacceptable. Can ANYBODY tell me the fix for this glitch??!!
