Apple Pencil Pro connected to iPad Air M3 but not working
I recently bought a brand new IPad Air M3 and the latest Apple Pencil Pro model.
less than a month into owning the devices the Apple Pencil Pro suddenly stopped working.
It appears to be connected to the iPad. It is listed in settings, and displays the charge when connected magnetically to the iPad. However, It doesn’t respond to touching the screen or squeezing like it should. No amount of trouble shooting has helped it function properly.
Steps I’ve tried
- Fully charging Pencil
- Taking cover of the iPad screen
- Tightening pencil tip
- Forced restart of the iPad
- Updating to latest software
- Resetting all settings on the iPad.
- Forgetting the device and repairing
- turning Bluetooth on and off.
Despite my best efforts the Pencil continues to malfunction.
