Account error messages for Gmail account.
iPhone 12 with iOS 18.6.2 getting weekly "Account Error" in my default mail app that says "Cannot Get Mail. The mail server" imap.gmail.com" is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account in Mail settings." Yet I continue to be able to send and receive emails in my Gmail account. I have removed and re-instated my Gmail account multiple times and do not receive the "Account Error" for a couple of days, but then it comes back again. I can ignore the error, since I am able to get my emails to my Gmail account, but it's just annoying to have the error note at the bottom of my mail screen. Help!
