Be careful if you purchase any adapter outside the Apple Store. I found two of these (by matching image) on Amazon. One is priced at $39, but is a rebuilt unit, which some users reported as failing after a short amount of time, or didn't work at all. The other is priced at $9.48 (and a second at $9.99). You know just from the price they're cheap knockoffs.
