iPhone 16 battery drain: USB C accessoires used 21h during last 24h , without really using

Hello, since a few days, my iPhone 16 doesn't charge by the USB C cable anymore. Or phone doesn't see that cable is plugged in, sometimes it shows: water in charger. since 1 week i charge by magsafe.

i noticed last days, my battery drains very quickly. i check in settings - battery for the usage and noticed that USB C accessoires is using 21h23 out of 24h, while no accessoires are connected..

What can this be?

VERY CAREFULLY, clean the lint or grit out of the USB C port. Something may be causing a short.

If there's no visible debris in the port or that doesn't help, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store.
