[After you have downloaded itunes, you visit (https://ipsw.me/) and choose the device and the firmware that corresponds to your device, you download the correct file (for example in my case it's this:)

pay attention to the green tick - it means that the sw is signed which makes it recognizable from itunes. (there are other sw versions with red X marks). Then once inside itunes, press shift + restore button and choose the file you have downloaded and begin.

No hablo español. Yes, better revert to ios 18. Something weird is happening with the the sim card read then across the devices.
