How to revert large, transparent time numbers on iPhone Home Screen in iOS 26?

Customise the wallpaper and simply shrink the time back to size.

If you object to glassy look there is a “solid” setting in the customisation options

Do you mean on your lock screen, which is where the time is shown? If yes, on the lock screen press on it till you see customize and tap Customize. You'll now see the time in a box and tap the time box. At the bottom you'll see Glass or Solid. Tap Solid and the time won't be see through. Tap done at the top right hand corner and the numbers will be solid now.

If you don’t want large numbers (and some glitch seems to be making yours enlarge) try using one of the other fonts.

Oh and if the glitch continues, the wallpaper is compromised, create a new wallpaper.

I’ve done that but keeps reverting back to large numbers. Any idea how to keep it from going back to large ( I hate) numbers ?

Thanks i just did what you suggested and changed to Solid. Much better now 🙏

Mine didn't have that toggle to enlarge the clock, how to fix that?

You must use the left most font, the other fonts will not expand
