How to disable liquid glass in iOS 26?

Is there a way to completely disable the liquid glass functionality on iOS 26? I'm not going to get into a lengthy diatribe over why it's awful, I just want it gone.

How do I disable liquid glass The 'liquid glass' effect introduced in iOS 26 is distracting and an accessibility nightmare. I know that you can reduce the transparency in settings, but this also adds opaque boxes around things that were fine before iOS 26. I do not want this enabled on any of my apple devices, how do I disable it? (Note: I don't know why apple thinks I am talking about an iPhone 5s on iOS 12, I posted this on an M2 MacBook Air and use a 2nd generation iPhone SE.)

I just discovered that reducing motion (Settings -> Accessibility -> Motion -> Reduce Motion) eliminates that weird glass distortion effect when you swipe to unlock!

Buy a Samsung Galaxy.

iOS 26 is one of the worst updates ever for UI.

This doesn’t create enough contrast. Screen interface is still not crisp enough on iOS 26.2.

its making response times on iPhone 14pro extremely slow, web pages and apps refreshes are delayed. Yeah yeah yeah I know I need to upgrade to a 17-18pro.
