QuickType predictive bar missing/removed from bottom of the screen on iOS 26 for ipad

The QuickType predictive bar that used to be at the bottom of the screen is gone.

Had i known you were removing a key tool i need, i would’ve NEVER updated. Why would you remove that bar at the bottom of the screen? Now i feel like i got really screwed with this “update”. You can forget it if you think you’re gonna get me to downdate my phone too.

i’m seriously angry about this. Why would someone make a decision like this? All you had to do was add a toggle switch in the settings for people that don’t want it shown.

is this some marketing thing to make iPads harder to use so you can sell them an iMac?
