M4 Pro Mac Mini unable to find macOS Tahoe

macOS Tahoe has now been rolled out. However, regardless of whether or not I refresh my Software Updates page, macOS Tahoe does not show up. My Mac is compatible with Tahoe and using the "sudo softwareupdate -l" command does not resolve the problem. I am currently on macOS Sequoia 15.7.

Mac mini, macOS 15.7

You may Start from here If an error occurred while updating or installing macOS

If still issues, use this Terminal Command to see if the computer Does See the Tahoe upGrade

softwareupdate --list-full-installers

What is the Output of the above command ?

Tested this command before posing the suggestion using a M4 Desktop already running Tahoe 26.0

It work on this machine

It's not you, it's them: Apple - Support - System Status.

Major macOS upgrades are delivered via the Mac App Store, and that is having an 'Issue' (most likely meaning servers are overloaded, in this case). Best advice is to try again later.

(Note that macOS Software Updates are green, so if you were on 15.6.1 you could access the 15.7 update...just not macOS 26.)

Caveat if you allow me here

Good idea the Terminal command

Having done that myself, for different reasons on day of release

1 - The Full Tahoe 26.0 application is about 17 GB in size

Not an issue if place permits

2 - Did the initial UpGrade from Sequoia 15.6.1 to Tahoe macOS 26.0

The installation on a M2 Desktop was a Semi Freak Out experience

From time of Starting the installation to the the Final Reboot and log In

Was about 90 Minutes

There was one point where it seemed to Pause at 31 mins, as per the count down clock

It lied, in real time the 31 minutes was clocked at 45 - 50 minutes before it would move forwards

Another thing you should be very aware of

During the Initial Setup process

There is no choice presented to Enable or Disable FileVault - if this matter to you

If not, I turned FileVault OFF there after - personal choice

Good luck and hope you have a better experience that I did ( Time wise for installation )
