HomeKit notifications only on iPad, not iPhone

homekit notifications will only show on my ipad and not my iphone. how do i fix this? when i locked my front door it sent a notification to the ipad saying the front door has been locked. i used to get these notifications on my iphone months ago but they've since stopped. my notifications settings look normal.

The notification settings look right but what about the settings within the Home app? Open Home, tap and hold on the lock, and tap Accessory Settings. Then go to Status and Notifications - does everything look correct there?
