iPhone XR can be updated to iOS 18.7 and no higher. It will never see another major iOS release. There is no, nor will there be an iOS 19. The newest iOS, which was released just yesterday, is iOS 26, which an iPhone XR will never be able to run.

i have iOS 18.7 so far that was a beta update.

That was an official release on Monday of this week, not a beta update.

iOS 18 is the end of the line for iPhone XR. Currently, that is iOS 18.7.

The next following version after iOS 18 is iOS 26 (for 2026), and iOS 26 is the current version.

To get to iOS 26, an iPhone 11 or later, or iPhone SE 2nd or later, is required.
