Mail export window getting larger MacOS Tahoe on Mac Mini M4

When i export a mailbox in Apple Mail on my Mac Mini M4 running MacOS 26 Tahoe, that export window gets larger every time i use it, first time i used export (or after deleting com.apple.mail.plist) it has a normal size, but every time after that it gets bigger, after a number of exports it doesn't fit on my screen any more and i'll have to blindly hit enter and hope the export goes to the correct folder.

Then after deleting the com.apple.mail.plist, it all goes back to first a normal sized export window and then again every next time i use export the window starts growing again.

Functionality is still okay but it's quite annoying.

Someone else have the same issue?

I have the same issue on my Mac mini.

Apple Support told me it is a known issue and suggested reinstalling the software. Don't bother doing this as it does not help.

Even after erasing the disk and installing the software afresh, the issue persists!

There is a similar problem with importing files. However, you can resize these folder windows to make the import normal.

On macOS Sequoia (I can't install macOS Tahoe), you can resize the window when you see it's getting bigger. I don't know if shrinking it would carry over, though.

Thanks 6x6, unfortunately i cannot drag it smaller widthwise, found out i can change the height but i am unable to change the width, the little drag/change arrows are there but they don't do anything.
