Sound and haptic issues after upgrading to iOS 26

ITS FIXED!!! I did the 26.2.1 upgrade last night and it’s fixed!!! Thank you !!! The alarm volume works and my podcast restarted on its own this morning after I dismissed my alarm!!! Thank you!!!

I have the 16 Pro Max and having the same problems, plus the alarm volume is ridiculously loud, it won’t decrease when I have my volume down. The keyboard sound comes and goes and podcasts and music and YouTube won’t restart after alarm is stopped. This is an issue both when I use my iPods pro 2 and without them. Very frustrated.

I had the same problem. I’ve got the iPhone 15 small version. Right after my update the keyboard vibration stopped working, and even in the settings haptics is shown to be on however, there’s absolutely no response. I tried trouble troubleshooting nothing.

I’m using iPhone 13 Pro Max and my music and audiobooks no longer restarts after alarms are silenced. An incredible inconvenience. And now I’m unable to text photos from the Apple Photos App.

Why are these significant issues being ignored? Why am I only allowed 3 votes? Is this so we are forced to purchase an iphone 17? Ios 26 has ruined many features and I’ve gone from love and convenience to frustration. Ios 16 was a major error.

Yes, it is the iOS update, 26.2 specifically. It gets very tiring listening to geeks tell us we need to reset, restart, delete and re-install, etc. First, make it right before it leaves the house, and second, have the know how to fix it or admit you don't have the know how. I have a new iPhone 16 with iOS 26.2 installed and that's when all the fun started. Forget all the bells and whistles and make functionality, effectiveness, and dependability a priority.

This is second time this has happened to my iPhone 13 promax was ok again till the other day I’d left auto update on and bammm my volumes that low again now it’s getting to be a joke with Apple now reason I bought it in the first place was I’m part deff and it’s a loud phone usually and now it’s pathetic yet again after it updated to iOS 26.2 not impressed

Same issue iPhone 14 Pro Max installed iOS 26.0.1 update and no keyboard sounds or notifications despite all settings being appropriate. Any fix yet?

I am having same issue on my iPhone 17 pro max. Keyboard haptics stop working.

I got excited and updated mine and it was OK for about two hours and now the sound is going out again. Come on what's going on my iPad was fine before I was forced to upgrade it.
