Where is Classic Mode Switching for the Camera
It’s supposed to be in Camera settings. Searching for Classic Mode in settings of course doesn’t find it. Could some kind person point me to where it might be?
Thank you very much.

I did some research on this and it appears in iOS 26 Beta v5, Apple added this control after testers complained about things being reversed. That would have been during Beta testing. There is no setting in my public release of iOS 26 for Classic Mode, so I have to believe there is no need for one and nothing is reversed from how it was in iOS 18, which is what this switch permitted users to accomplish.
Thank you. It’s now a slider motion, swiping underneath a glass lozenge. It’s a bit weird to use, but I guess necessary because the text is so much larger. Previously you saw so many more options on the screen that you could usually just tap the function you needed and only drag for the functions at the ends in the list. I thought Classic Mode might return to that.
Thanks again.

You're welcome. It won't take long for us to adapt and appreciate how things work in iOS 26. Then we get to learn all over again, next year when the next major iOS version is released! 😉
