After updating to Tahoe 26.0 Roku no longer appears in Displays

This was working with few issues before the update. (There are significant bugs in using AirPlay which is not related to this issue.) After updating to Tahoe 26.0, when I tried to mirror to my Roku Streaming Stick, which is attached to my TV, I no longer have the upper right pulldown menu where I can select the Roku device. The Roku device seems to be working fine, though I had to power cycle it to get the home page to appear. I'll search for this issue elsewhere, but I don't see why an OS upgrade would break Airplay.

I recently figured out that System Settings/Displays was modified. Instead of getting a mirroring pull-down menu at the top right, you get that pull-down menu when you click Arrange at the bottom right. When I do that, I see my Roku Streaming Stock and can mirror to it, though the other serious bugs in AirPlay appear not to be fixed in 26.0 or 26.0.1, which I just installed. I'm going to re-read Apple's list of changes in 26.0 to see if the changes to Displays was covered. If I had not been curious and clicked Arrange, I would never have figured out what happened. And I'm wondering whether the list of changes announces removal of the AirPlay icon from the very top line. Perhaps AirPlay is integrated into MacOs rather than being a separate app.

I phoned Apple twice today. The first person I spoke to said she had not heard of this issue. She made me jump through hoops including wasting an hour reinstalling Tahoe 26.0. The second person I spoke to checked known issues, found it and says that many people have reported it. Apparently, Apple began working on it today. I wish I could give the first person I spoke to the lowest possible support rating. This is a MacOS bug.
