Touch Bar is missing after updating to Tahoe
After updating macOS26 Tahoe on Macbook Pro M1 (2020), my TouchBar is missing.

A SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies
Login and test. Reboot as normal and test.
you can try DFU the Revive, and no resolve the Restore (which will wipe all data)

I had the same issue, plus the space bar refused to work. I did the Apple Support Chat. Issue solved! As suggested by Liz, restart the computer. Plus I also did an update (26.0.1)
Plus she gave me 5 steps I could take if that did not solve the problems. I so appreciate Apple Support!
