Why is the new iOS 26 is not accessibility compliant

Buttons and icons are now clear bubbles with text or images. That makes it very difficult to see the text or image for a person without disabilities. I can only imagine the difficulties for those with handicaps.


Yes, we can go into Settings > Accessibilities and turn on the Reduce Transparency toggle. However, that turns the button background to a light gray. There is no option to make the background to a darker gray or black.
