iPhone 15 Pro – After updating to iOS 26 display is stuck at 60 Hz (ProMotion not working

Hi everyone,

since updating my iPhone 15 Pro to iOS 26, I’ve noticed that the display no longer seems to go up to 120 Hz.

• I checked Settings → Accessibility → Motion, and “Limit Frame Rate” is turned off.

• Low Power Mode is disabled.

• I tested the refresh rate using testufo.com and displayhz.com, and the result stays around 60 Hz even while scrolling.

• I restarted the phone and did a full charge cycle, but the issue persists.

Is anyone else with an iPhone 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max experiencing the same problem after updating to iOS 26?

Could this be a known bug, or did Apple change how ProMotion works?
