Which MacBook Air do you have?
- An Intel-based MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2020) that supports up to two external displays?
- A MacBook Air with a M1 or M2 chip that supports only one external display?
- A MacBook Air with a M3 chip that supports only one external display with the lid open, two with it closed?
- A MacBook Air with a M4 chip that supports up to two external displays?
If it is one that supports multiple displays, you can either
- Attach the displays through separate ports on your Mac (e.g., hook one display directly to one of the USB-C ports on the Mac, and hook the other to a "plain" USB-C hub that is connected to the other USB-C port on the Mac), or
- Attach both displays to a Thunderbolt dock, hub, or dual-display adapter. I'd suggest looking at the products on the Other World Computing, SonnetTech, and CalDigit sites – those vendors have supplied Thunderbolt products to Mac users for a long time.
