Apple Watch (26.0) can’t connect to matrix treadmill

After the latest Apple Watch update I can’t connect my watch to the matrix treadmill (the one with the big screen). The problem is that it seems to be connected on the treadmill but no heart rate is shown. Also the app on watch isn’t starting the workout as it used to do.

Apple Watch not connecting properly to Matrix treadmill The gym I use has Matrix equipment. I have previously successfully paired my watch to the treadmill with no issues. I tried to pair today and it connects, allows the choice of workout (I pick indoor run) but then instead of starting the workout on the watch, it opens up the Fitness app as if to select a workout. The run is going on the treadmill but with no calories shown (as it will usually get this data from the watch). When I start an indoor run on the watch from this state, it starts a separate workout that isn’t matched up to the treadmill. My previous run was early December, perhaps a watch update has caused an issue? I tried two different treadmills so I think either a watch or treadmill software issue.

Apple Watch 10 connects to treadmill but doesn't record activity Up until yesterday, I have had no issues with connecting my watch to the treadmills at my gym. However, yesterday, I connected my watch as normal, selected indoor run, but then it just went back to the main workout menu. The treadmill showed the little connected symbol on the screen, but the calories and heart rate which normally then show on the treadmill weren't there. I ended up having to selecting indoor run again but it didn't reflect the treadmill. Does anyone know why this is? I've had my watch for about a month and haven't had any problems up until now. My friend who is there at the same time connects hers without a problem and I have tried it on numerous machines, so it is definitely the watch! I have toggled "Detect Gym Equipment" off and on and this hasn't solved the problem. I have also rebooted my watch.... please help!

watch fitness not working since update Every morning, my watch has become a battle for my watch to recognize standing, or any exercise. The heart rate doesn’t pickup when it does connect to the Peloton app, but to even get it to connect I have to do a hard restart. Eventually it starts working and then is fine, but it takes almost an hour for it to start working correctly.
