Since updating to ios26.0 on my iPad my gmail is on split screen which I am unable to remove. I’ve tried all the usual ways but it won’t budge. Thank you

Is “Windowed Apps” turned on in Settings > Multitasking & Gestures ? If so, tap the “traffic lights” icon (top left of the window) and tap the green icon to restore the app to full screen.
