New Update(Glass animation or theme) gives battery drain and heating issues to iPhone

I'm using iPhone 15 Plus and apple watch series 9 LTE version for more than 21 months. I recently updated my iPhone and apple watch to IOS 26.0 which is officially released by Apple in recent launch in Apple event(2025). The UI glass Theme effect(Shiny Animations to icons)and some minor updates other than that no change in that I didn't except the new update gives that much impact to battery drain(While shiny animations and other high UI motion effects) and heating issue(While using for few mins) to my iPhone, apple watch and most of my friends who uses apple devices(iPhone 16 series and below devices, apple watches also)having the same issues after updating to IOS 26.0

APPLE HAS TO FIX THIS ISSUES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF NOT MOST OF THE USER WILL NOT SUGGEST IPHONES TO OTHERS AND THEY MIGHT SHIFT TO SAMSUNG OR OTHER POPULAR ANDROID PHONES.

It's time for Apple to take action on their new update IOS 26.0 issues of iPhone 16 series and below models. Not to lost there users to other popular android brands. If Apple doesn't make it there sales might effect and already apple sales is getting effected not having proper AI features plus the BATTERY DRAIN ISSUES AND HEATING of new IOS 26.0 update leads to drastic fall for the apple.

No one here in this user-to-user forum can answer why Apple does or does not do something. You can, however, let Apple know your thoughts here:

Did you already try to force restart your iPhone and Apple Watch?

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

To force restart your watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.

Since Apple does not follow these user to user communities, you will have to use the Feedback link to reach them directly, and let them know about potential issues with watchOS 26 and iOS 26.

On my iPhone I have reduced the Transparency in Settings/Accessibility/Display & Text Size, to get a usable Homescreen, folders, icons and switches again.

After an watchOS or iOS upgrade, the battery will be used by background processes for a short time, but then the battery life should be back to normal.

Did you check the battery health on your Apple Watch? If it is near or below 80%, your battery life will be shorter and the battery needs to be replaced by Apple.

Why don't apple give feature of enable or disable feature of the new glassy(shinny) update to UI/UX for icons and background effects as per the user wish or for less pressure on battery consumption.

Apple release updates which user can update it but if user don't like the updated features they don't have options to turn off the update function(Based on the UI/UX).
