When I open any window (even top menu bar) it loses its focus (in case of menu bar it just closes) after some time (random). I cannot use anything with text input for example, because focus is switched randomly when I type something in.
This is a very major issue for me, because my computer is literally unusable right now.
I have the same issue on M4 Pro 24GB.
The fix for me was to disable Forti client from App Background Activity in Login Items & Extensions:

This "cleanmymac" thing is one of the worst pieces of **** that you could install in your mac. Just don't.
Noticing since Tahoe 26.2, it's not focusing on Windows, when I switch to another app; it doesn't appear to happen with Apple apps though, only 3rd party apps like Firefox, Adobe Reader...
It's as if the focus would still be on the window from the last app, not correctly switching to the app you've actually switched to.
Also happens when switching from Apple apps to non-Apple apps (like from Apple mail to Firefox).
In my case not... But also think it doesn't happen consistently, just checked back on another MacBook (also on 26.2), where this isn't occurring, so - let's ignore it for now, not too serious anyway :)

Hey, we are experiencing the same issue were focusing on Windows automatically unclicks. This problem has been reported by several users in our organization. We use Admin by Request and FortiClient, and we think one of these might be causing the issue.
We are on macOS tahoe 26.2
Have there been any official statement regarding the issue?

I agree - I'm loosing focus while typing OR pasting text from an app to another. This a very anoying issue. PLease considere it quickly.
