If you tap and hold, then a popup should appear giving you the option of opening the Quick Response (QR) website.

Learn something new everyday! I wasn't aware you could hard press a QR code and get the option to open it, but you are indeed correct. So thanks for this tip!

A QR code which is stored on a device can't be opened on the device the QR code is stored on. That's not how QR Codes work. You'd need to use another device to scan the QR code which is stored on your device. You could print out a picture of the QR code which is stored on your phone, then use your iPhone camera to scan the photo you printed.
