How do I customize app group appearance on iPhone 17?

I have several app bundles on my phone, and I just upgraded from the 12 to 17 and those bundles look like really annoying bubbles/magnifying lens and I want to change this. It is seriously making me rethink getting the 17 and reverting back to my 12 over it.

That's the new Liquid Glass interface in iOS 26. It has nothing to do with the model of iPhone.

If you update your iPhone 12 to iOS 26 you'll get the same thing.

And no, you cannot change it. The folders are designed to look like watery glass.

You can however go into Settings ➜ Accessibility ➜ Display & Text Size ➜ Reduce Transparency and turn it on, and they'll change to a softer gray, without the magnifying effect.
