No access to Icloud services from Kazakhstan

Hello Apple Support Community,




Over the past week, we have been experiencing persistent difficulties accessing iCloud. Whenever we try to log in to iCloud.com from any device, we receive a connection error. iCloud reports an error when attempting to connect to the server.




All of us are paying for our subscriptions. We have tried accessing iCloud from different devices, different network connections, and different accounts. The result is always the same error.




Our question is: if access to iCloud is restricted in Kazakhstan, why are subscription fees still being charged?




We would appreciate any clarification or guidance on this issue.

iCloud is available in your country. iCloud+ plans and pricing - Apple Support


Restart your equipment and/or sign in out and back in again, and try again.


If you can't connect or sign in to iCloud or your account, Apple has a list of things you can try in the document If you can't connect or sign in to iCloud - Apple Support


Is the iCloud server working? --> https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus


If you are using a VPN, try turning it off and see if you can then log in. E.g., AppStore - Apple Community


If you are trying to use a service from outside your Home Country it may not be available. From: Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions - Legal - Apple Media Services - Apple

- A. ”Our Services are available for your use in your country of residence (“Home Country”).

And: "Certain Services and Content available to you in your Home Country may not be available to you when traveling outside of your Home Country."

Select from the presented options until you find a solution for your issue, or see if there is a chat or phone call contact method offered lower on the page under “Get more help” (you sometimes have to narrow down the options multiple times before this is shown). If you do not see your issue, keep experimenting with any series of selections until you reach one that offers a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.


This support article has various country telephone numbers for contacting Apple for support and service ➔ Contact Apple Support - Apple Support For some countries look under “Other” listing at the end of each region. Not every country has telephone support, and phone numbers may only work when calling from the same country.

Yeah. But the problem is not in VPN. When I use normal connection the error written on the photos:

iCloud reports an error when attempting to connect to the server.


and when I choose another country such as France via VPN everything works.


The problem is that the iCloud server is not available when you try to connect from Kazakhstan directly. You have to download VPN and choose another country only in this case Icloud still works.
