In use, the battery over-heats and I then activate the cooling pad, 2 fans USB powered.
This Mac Book is for home use only, is it possible to bypass the battery and use by wall power alone?
If yes, how to achieve this?

Modern MacBook Pros perform poorly without a battery, and can slow down considerably or otherwise experience anomalies.
Some older MacBook Pros could be utilized without a battery on wall power only. But then fluctuations in power could damage the electronics.
If you battery is causing overheating, that is a safety issue and should be addressed as soon as possible.
There is no way to instruct the Mac to bypass the battery. The only way would be to remove it or changing circuits inside, neither is recommended.
OWC sells battery replacements for old Macs. What year is yours? I had a battery in a 2013 MacBook Air replaced about 5 years ago by a local Apple Authorized Service Center (not Apple Store)with an OWC battery and the "new" battery is running very well and is still at 100%. At that time it was an inexpensive service.
Running a Mac with an overheating battery using cooling pads/fans to try to mitigate sounds unsafe to me. These batteries can cause fires (even when the Mac is powered off) on their own. I would either replace the battery or stop using this Mac for safety considerations.

On desktop systems, large power capacitors are in place to smooth out the DC power to avoid damaging spikes and sags caused by the vagaries of typical AC power.
On battery-equipped systems, the BATTERY is used to perform that same task. Running a battery-capable computer without a battery in place exposes your computer's internal electronics directly to these variations in DC power levels, with no filtration. This is likely to result is a failure caused by a power spike or sag.
Exactly how soon that will happen depends on things most folks do not know, such as how "noisy" is your typical supplied AC power.
Executive Summary: DON'T run without a battery installed.

I had one, a Late 2007 15-inch. The applicable battery KB article back then stated that, if you ran with the quick-detach battery removed, the processor would clock back to 1.0 ghz or one-half its rated speed, whichever was greater.
There are other things to check for concerns about overheating:
— failed or underperforming fan. Running Apple Diagnostics will pick up fan issues.
— 13-inch Macbook Pros have one cooling fan and usually no side air intakes. Cool air in and hot air out happend through the hinge area, so that must be unobstructed.
— Some cooling air can enter through keyboard on a 13-inch, so NO keyboard covers,
