Upgraded to Tahoe. Now, screensaver doesn't activate. Monitors don't sleep. Watch doesn't unlock

I installed Tahoe, and now...

  • The screensaver doesn't come on after 2 minutes like it used to (so, I have to manually lock)
  • The monitors don't go to sleep after 5 minutes like they used to (so, I have to turn them off)
  • My Apple Watch doesn't unlock (so I have to use my password)

I've visited Settings and changed each of these timeouts to "Never" and then back to the desired values, just to make sure that they get updated in the places that refer to them. Still, no improvement. Ideas?

watch— can't use to open Mac

>System Settings > Touch ID & Password. turn off then on the option to allow Apple Watch to unlock

No resolve sign out of your Apple Account on your Mac > System Settings>AooleID/Account

and back in again and compare your results
