How do you turn off Liquid Glass?

I have tried Liquid Glass but find it really distracting as the colours and icons are not as crisp as before. This seems a step in the wrong direction.

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26

You can reduce the transparency at Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Reduce Transparency, but that is it. There is no way to turn it off.

Thats unfortunate. I feel like this was simply a change so they could say it’s new, I don’t find it helpful.
