Dynamic Wallpapers in MacOS Tahoe are Still Pictures

I had to check my Sequoia install. Some Dynamic Wallpapers change throughout the day such as the Ventura and other wallpapers which show multiple gradations. The Tahoe/Sequoia/Macintosh & Sonoma wallpapers are animated on the Lock Screen. It's a bit confusing on Apple's part. Sorry I added some confusion. I just never use them.

I saw wavey wall paper and could not get rid of it fast enough...

Try the Landscape "Tahoe Day." After you have it loaded, use Command Control Q to lock the screen—

or you saying you see no motion(?)

if no resolve verify reduced motion in not turned on in Accessibility settings(?)

For setting Screen Saver you have to click open the "screen saver" button and make changes.

FWIW, "Tahoe Day." is not a Dynamic wallpaper.

what do you call it then when it has motion???

I have to correct something. They only change from light to dark when you change the Appearance from light to dark, and then only if set to Automatic.

FWIW, "Tahoe Day." is not a Dynamic wallpaper.

It is only animated on the lock screen.
