Since updating to iOS 26 on my iPhone 16 Pro, the “Select All” option in Mail has disappeared when entering Select mode. This affects both iCloud and Exchange accounts. The new Categories view makes things worse and adds confusion. Please restore a consistent “Select All” button across all Category selections.

This issue is especially egregious when it's now even easier to accidentally mark every email as flagged instead of read. I now have almost 8,000 flagged emails - and some I genuinely wanted flagged in the mix there. Fun!
This is a minor inconvenience. I have a folder that collects junk mail from my three accounts. There is no”select all” when viewing that folder however there is when viewing the junk folder for each specific account. So now I have to go to 3 folders instead of one. This needs to be fixed.
IOS 26 is just horrible. There are so many functions that no longer work or were removed and ones that have been added that have required more clicks to perform than before. Apple needs to add a “classic” view that restores the functionality of previous latest 18 version. I spend more time trying to find let alone remember their new ways to do things. Someone at Apple needs to be demoted or fired for approving this new version.
It has disappeared from everywhere I am able to enter text. Texts, emails, gmails, notes. It’s awful.
