Apple Pay postcode is invalid

Apple Pay says my Jersey postcode is invalid (it is correct)

I have checked all my addresses in settings and all correct. I think the problem is Apple Pay sets the address to UK and there is no option to change to Jersey. This is an intermittent issue, sometimes it works fine. Any ideas?

This is hard to describe …

… but as you’re making the transaction, but just before you “double click” to authenticate you have the option to select another payment method.

Click on the “>” next to your payment method and verify the address, phone, and email listed THERE are consistent with other records.

I’m not sure exactly from where these values are stored or otherwise accessible, but they ARE different from the defaults. (and this it the only way I’ve found to set them)

And if they don’t match, the payment will be rejected.

Apple or Apple Pay don’t do address or zip code verifications. However, merchants and or banks may perform anti fraud verifications before authorizing a transaction.

You’ll need to contact the merchants support team. Basic customer support may not be aware of the verification process. You may also need to see if the bank is doing a verification.
