This account is blocked and cannot be used

Hi there,


My sister tried to unlock my phone until the phone was looked.

I was not able to use it anymore so reset it.

I forgot the password (tried too many times) so now I have no phone, no account, and don't know what to do.


Can someone please let me know what should I do?

Note that there is a difference between a password and a passcode. An iPhone does not use a password as the way of getting access to it.


You say you "reset" it. What exactly did you do? Erase it ?


Read the Apple Support document for what to do if you forgot the passCODE on an iPhone or iPad. Click here then select your device type if necessary --> If you forgot your iPhone passcode or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support - Which one you can use depends upon your equipment configuration.

Review the information provided here if your account is locked:

If your Apple Account is locked, not active, or disabled - Apple Support


You may be able to unlock your account here:

If that is not possible and the links provided by Limnos for additional support, then you will need to create a new account and remove the account on your phone using the Activation Lock removal request. In most cases this requires the original purchase receipt from Apple or Authorized Apple Seller, although the support article just shows Proof of Purchase.
