Having issues with notifications on the 17 pro max

Hey. Set up my new iPhone 17 pro max last night and have been having issues receiving notifications from certain apps (BBC News, Sky News) Until yesterday these would’ve been pinging several times a day. I’ve checked all the settings and they are all turned on for notifications and also reinstalled them again. I have a series 7 Apple Watch as well and it is also being difficult with notifications. They are no longer pinging when I have the watch in silent mode. Haptics are turned on. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Having same issue on iPhone Air, certain apps do not give notifications although all settings are the same as prior phone.

in my case it’s also the default Mail app, and numerous other apps like YouTube.

Tried deleting and reinstalling, adjusting notifications settings, turning settings on and off, even removing adaptive power for notifications, phone restarts, even a force restart, nothing is changing these random apps to notify so I think there is a bug in the Apple notifications system that needs to be patched in the next update ASAP.

i also don’t get badge counts showing on some apps, YouTube is one, until I enter the app, go out and badges then show.

Mail will show badge count without entering it but will not produce a notification in Notification Centre.

Some other apps don’t even create a sound/vibration/notification/badge -nothing.
