IPHONE WON't CHARGE!!! :( 9 VOLT ACCIDENT!!!

Ok so I got a female USB port from an old computer and got a nine volt battery. I attached my iPhone charger to the female USB port and attached the nine volt battery to the female USB and it didn't charge my phone so I switch the wires and still didn't work. Now I try using the regular charger and now my iPhone won't charge! 😟

Lol well I just turned off my phone and then plug thecharger in and now it charges. 🙂 lol

USB uses 5V. You're lucky not to have damaged the phone with the 9V. Anyway, a 9V battery wouldn't have enough capacity to charge the iPhone battery. For proper charging, you also have to connect some resistors to the USB data lines, in addition to the 5V on the USB power pins. For details, see:
