Cannot reset password - INFINITE LOOP OF DOOM
Hello,
I have tried using the support app and talking with someone from Apple, but unfortunately my issue persists.
I am trying to buy a new MacBook Pro and failing :)
I couldn't log into my account so I decided to reset my password. My account is old and it is linked to an old phone number.
When I go through the process of confirming my account I click on the link stating that I do not have access to the number provided.
I go through to the email confirmation screen. When I ask for the reset code to be sent via email it never arrives.
I have been trying for days using different devices and browsers with no luck.
I even tried clicking on the button stating I have no access to the email I have registered, but it asks me to start the process over again.
I even tried using the support feature and clicking the help someone else option. This also goes around in a loop.
I don't understand how a company that is worth 1 trillion has such a horrendous support system.
That aside can anyone help me log in?
Just to confirm I don't have access to my old number and I don't have the option to change it.
The email confirmation isn't working and it doesn't allow me to bypass it.
I have tried using the support app and different devices/browsers.
I am stuck in a loop and there are no incoming emails in my inbox or junk folder.
It has gotten to a point that I now get a message saying I have tried to request an email too many times.
